Summer Flounder

Center Console Boats

4 hrs

Six Days of Atlantic City Fishing

Discover the basics of South Jersey flounder fishing with Captain Michael guiding you through a relaxed, hands-on experience in the protected backwaters behind Atlantic City. This trip is designed for new anglers and small families who want to learn without feeling rushed, giving you time to understand how drift fishing works from start to finish. You’ll learn how to bait your hook, work your presentation along the bottom, recognize the subtle taps of a Fluke, and time your hookset when the moment comes. The calm backwater setting creates an approachable environment for building confidence while still keeping you actively involved in the fishing. Instead of simply being told what to do, you’ll learn by putting each technique into practice. For anyone looking to land their first Flounder while developing skills they can take to future fishing trips, this is an enjoyable and practical introduction to Atlantic City’s inshore waters.

4 Hours Trip for Beginners

Learn to Catch Flounder the Right Way

Head offshore from Atlantic City and put your bottom-fishing skills to work over wrecks, artificial reefs, and deep rock ledges where Black Sea Bass and other reef fish can gather. Captain Michael guides you across this deep structure, helping you understand where to position your rig and how to stay connected to the bottom as the boat moves with the drift. Weighted high-low rigs and metal jigs give you different ways to work the structure while keeping you ready for the quick tap of a fish below. The deeper water adds another layer to the challenge, from reading the bottom to setting the hook and bringing fish up through the water column. With the possibility of double-headers and quality table fare, this trip keeps the rod active and the fishing engaging throughout the day. It’s a hands-on offshore experience for anglers who enjoy technical bottom fishing and productive Atlantic structure.

Black Sea Bass

6 hrs

Drop Deep for Atlantic City Sea Bass

Get hands-on with South Jersey striped bass fishing as Captain Michael takes you through the productive back bays and sod banks between Brigantine and Atlantic City. The experience is built around reading the water and taking advantage of moving tidal currents where Stripers can position to ambush baitfish. Depending on the conditions, you may work topwater plugs, drift live bait, or run jigs through deeper sod cuts and channel edges. Every cast gives you an opportunity to put your technique to work while learning how structure, current, and bait movement come together. This is a focused trip for anglers who enjoy being actively involved rather than simply waiting for a bite. With Captain Michael’s local knowledge guiding the approach, you can explore some of South Jersey’s productive inshore Striped Bass waters while staying ready for the hard run and powerful fight that makes these fish so rewarding to pursue.

Striped Bass

Hunt the Tides for Trophy Stripers

Get up close to the structure and put your fishing skills to work targeting Sheepshead around Atlantic City and Brigantine. Captain Mike specializes in this technical style of fishing, positioning you around barnacle-covered bridge pilings and dock legs where Sheepshead can hold in heavy cover. Live crabs rigged on specialized jigs give you the tools to work tight structure and stay ready for the subtle tap that can signal a bite. The real challenge comes after the strike, when quick reactions and strong line control are needed to turn a hookup into a landed fish. This hands-on experience keeps you actively involved from the first drop to the final catch, making it an engaging choice for anglers who enjoy precision fishing and close-quarters battles. If you want to experience a different side of South Jersey inshore fishing, this Sheepshead trip delivers a technical challenge with plenty of character.
